David Lee
David joined SISS in 2005, after almost 22 years at Watson Wyatt where he served as a consultant to various multi-employer pension and health and welfare plans and was a Team Leader in the Vancouver Retirement Practice.
David specializes in Trusteed, negotiated pension and health and welfare plans and advises Clients in the areas of plan design, implementation, funding, investment strategy and policy and administration of both defined benefit and defined contribution plans. He has also assisted clients in the area of computerized administration systems.
David was born and raised in the lower mainland of British Columbia. He attended University of British Columbia and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours. David lives in Port Moody and volunteers his time to youth sports. Most recently with the Port Moody Amateur Hocky Association where he has served as President and Coach Coordinator.

Senior Associate
Teresa R. Legaspi
Teresa has over 26 years of experience in finance, banking and investments, having worked as a licensed mutual fund representative and lender for one of the largest international banks in Canada for over 5 years. Since joining SISS as an Associate in May 2015, Teresa completed the Canadian Securities Course and recently earned the Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) designation from the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) program.
Prior to migrating to Canada, she was an Investment Manager for a high net worth business owner in the Philippines, where she also received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (with high honors) from the country’s most prestigious educational institution, the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
Outside of the office, Teresa has been an active volunteer since 1999 with a local non-profit organization that supports women and their role in the family and society.

Associate
Maria J. Zatarain
Maria Zatarain was born and raised in Madrid, Spain where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Economic Science in 1998 from the Complutense University of Madrid, a prestigious Spanish University. After graduating in the top 15% of her class, Maria relocated to Toronto, Ontario to complete an internship in Corporate Finance at the Bank of America.
While in Toronto, she continued her professional development completing a number of courses in Finance at the University of Toronto. In July 2003, Maria joined SISS as an Associate. Since then, Maria has assisted a wide number of clients in developing, implementing and monitoring retirement Plans under a strategy known as asset-liability matching.
While working for SISS, Maria completed the Canadian Securities Course with Honors and successfully completed two Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) courses: Government-Sponsored Benefit Programs and Pension Plans and Other Retirement Income Agreements.
Outside of the office, Maria spends most of her time coordinating programs for high-school and university students through Headford Cultural Group, a registered charity that promotes the unique role of women in shaping society.
